Please be working toward getting confirmation on the shoot for weekend and your website. No class on Tuesday because of doctor's appointment so please have something to show for Thursday's class on the website.

Please be working on your website information. Don't forget about contacting your people at the church if you don't hear back from them in the next day or two.

Please come to hallway for critique for Photo 2 on Tuesday. Start to updated your website.

Tuesday, April 26

We need a finalized proposal for Tuesday and to start shooting. We need to review what we have left to shoot for the website as well. We will talk more about this after graphics class today.

Thursday, April 14

Please have 30 of your favorite images to include in your portfolio "get ready" for our actual review on Tuesday next week. Be working on a finalized concept for your FINAL PROJECT:)

Tuesday, April 12

Please have some proposals for your final large project. Edit your family photos. Get started on senior portrait and engagement portrait sessions.

Thursday, April 7

Please have your family pictures so that we can look them over. Bring your Van Dyke printing kit to play around with in class on Thursday and we will get started on our next project.

Tuesday, April 5

Please have your work hung up in the same spot in the PAC. Take down your old work. Do not loose will need to scan the images later in the semester for archiving. Be sure to print out your artist statement. Tighten those up guys. Make sure that your cyanotypes look good across the set. Meet in the PAC at the start of class rather than going to the photo house. Please make sure that your remake images are ready to look at in class on Thursday that week.

Thursday, March 31

Need to use every bit of work time that you can. Assignment due on Tuesday next week. Please bring a rough draft of your artist statement to look over on Thursday.

Tuesday, March 11

Please come with edited headshots to look over. Plan on getting some negatives to work with so that you can use the day to experiment with your next shoot and getting your cyanotypes to work out.

Thursday, March 10

Please do test shoots of rugs. Buy muslim for the testing. Not sure if weather is going to work for us to get some prints. Be working toward your headshot. Will give you a photo diary assignment to shoot with class on Thursday so be sure to bring your camera.

Thursday, March 3

Please start in on ideas for your next altered process / personal shoot. Start work on head shots.

Tuesday, March 1

Have your photography project installed. Please give me an email to let me know where you want to put it. Don't forget to put up your revised artist statement beside it. We will walk over and critique this at the end of class. Have your branding getting close to finished up along with the website we will start putting work up on there after this project. Don't forget to call Megan about the photo shoot date for the maternity shoot.

Please have your website on the way along with your branding. Set up the shoot for the maternity subject. Finish up the 50 photos and start brain storming gallery installation options for that. See ya Thursday.

Please shoot your product shots to look over in class on Thursday. Also bring some test shoots of the 50 series. Have your rules for making. Keep working on your photo branding and working that out.

We talked about all the goodies for Thursday. Consult your sketchbook. Make sure you have progress made on your photo brand. Start thinking out your list of rules for shooting and start planning out your product photo diary assignment.

Welcome to Photo 4! This blog will be a companion throughout this course giving you additional examples, demos, videos and other material that might compliment what you are learning in class. In addition we will use this blog as a way to keep up with homework assignments and projects. Keep checking back here for the latest going on in class.
