FOR CRITIQUE
You need to have all 50 of your series hung in the side gallery hallway by Tuesday morning. We will start class in the lab (I'll get them going and we will walk over to look over your material.) Make sure your artist statement is following format and hung in the hallway with the work. Be ready to submit your sketchbook for a grade with the project.

Your website is due to be in working order with your headshot photo diary requirement done. Your engagement shoot will be due on the website the following Tuesday. We will not have class on Thursday due to pottery workshop, but we will be starting on the next assignment after critique in class so you will have some time to do some sketching and idea process over the next week.

Thursday, Feb. 23

Okay - so only one more class session before critique. Must have a printed out copy of your artist statement to mark up. Must have plan for the hanging of the work. Must be almost finished with the works. Get busy shooting. Start on your engagement shots. Those will be due on Thursday, March 2 after critique on Tuesday, Feb. 28. Don't forget to have your website going to show off your headshots and logo, etc.  We will be putting your engagement shoot on the website along with this last project - 50 series.

Tuesday, Feb. 21

Have your logo, website and work going and finalized. Get an artist statement printed out to proof. Test shoot / actual shoot. Remember got fifty to get to for the final - lots more shots before that. Be thinking about how you want to display the work, be ready to talk that out on Tuesday.

Thursday, Feb. 16

DUE THURSDAY
Please have your headshots finished and in the drop box. They are going to need to get finalized to go on your website.

Finalized and finish your logos. Start on your wordpresses. Take old work and start to put it into catergories that make sense to where you want your niche to be.

TEST SHOOT!! We need to have rough one of your artist statement printed out in class on Thursday.

Don't forget lecture and reception for show on Thrusday night at 4:30 pm.

Tuesday, Feb. 14

DUE TUESDAY

Please have your logo finalized along with your choice of website.

You need to have 10 headshots in the dropbox for Tuesday. 5 with an object and 5 without. Can be different people if you choose. This is for your website ultimately.

You need to test shoot more for your 50 series. Chloe test shoot shadows and CeCe test shoot multiple angles backlight on white background. Experiment and upload to dropbox. We will see you Tuesday!

Thursday, February 9

Please finish your logo. Presume the test shots we talked about in class. Get a website with your business name. Dropbox the 25 headshots for Tuesday.

Tuesday, Feb. 7

DUE TUESDAY

JOB FOLDER
Start a job folder on yourself
1. Research your name and your competition
2. Personal statement on photography and why shoot and why name
3. List of words to use that support your brand and statement (ex. Bird Photography - Words that go with nesting, feathers, fly, soft, bright, flown, migrate, etc.)
4. Look over options for wordpress.com or squarespace.com (or any other site that you might want to start looking over for your website).

-Start scouting out models for yoga lipstick and locations.

THREE IDEAS FOR PROPOSAL
Type out three ideas for your series of 50. Think about things you care about, things you love, or things you hate. Look for the merge.
